          <h1>Termination clause allows unilateral withdrawal after an initial period, subject to written notice and transitional handling of requests.</h1> The Agreement permits either Contracting Party to terminate after five years by written notice through diplomatic channels; termination becomes effective on the first day of the month after six months from receipt of notice. All information requests received up to the effective date must be dealt with under the Agreement, and the Parties remain bound by Article 8 confidentiality and use restrictions with respect to information obtained under the Agreement.
