of <h1>Net Proceeds from Additional Excise Duties Distributed to States Per Second Schedule of 1957 Act, Omitted in 2007.</h1> During each financial year, a portion of the net proceeds from additional duties of excise, levied and collected under the Additional Duties of Excise (Goods of Special Importance) Act, 1957, is distributed to the States from the Consolidated Fund of India. The specific amounts allocated to each State are determined according to the provisions outlined in the Second Schedule of the Act. This provision was omitted effective April 1, 2007, following the Taxation Law Amendment Act, 2007 and the corresponding notification.
