Deemed exports: domestic supplies may be notified as such if goods remain in India and payment is in convertible currency. Section 147 empowers the Government, on Council recommendation, to notify supplies of goods as deemed exports where goods do not leave India and payment is received in Indian rupees or in convertible foreign exchange, provided such goods are manufactured in India.
