Provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure apply to search and seizure procedures under the Prevention of Money Laundering Rules insofar as they are not inconsistent with the Act; provisions on search, seizure or freezing, forwarding reasons and material to the adjudicating authority, impounding and custody of records, and retention periods are governed by this consistency principle.
