Compounding before adjudication prohibits subsequent adjudication of the same contravention and bars any inquiry into that contravention. Compounding of a contravention before adjudication prevents any inquiry for adjudication of that contravention against the person in respect of whom compounding has been effected, thereby barring subsequent adjudication under the Rules.
