of <h1>Baggage items specified in Annexure II of the Baggage Rules list large appliances and precious metals; refrigerator threshold amended.</h1> Annexure II to the Baggage Rules (see rule 6) enumerates specific goods subject to special baggage treatment, listing colour television, video home theatre systems, dish washers, domestic refrigerators above 300 litres, deep freezers, specified video camera combinations, 35mm and larger cinematographic films, and gold or silver in any form other than ornaments. The entry for domestic refrigerators was amended by Notification No. 43/2016 to change the threshold to capacity above 300 litres with effect from 01-04-2016, thereby altering the scope of item 4 under Annexure II.
