          <h1>Currency import and export under baggage rules are governed by Foreign Exchange Management (Export and Import of Currency) Regulations, 2015.</h1> Rule 7 states that import and export of currency under the Baggage Rules, 2016 are governed by the Foreign Exchange Management (Export and Import of Currency) Regulations, 2015 and the notifications issued thereunder, so that compliance with those Regulations and their notifications is the operative legal standard for baggage-related currency movements.
