Declaration submission requirements under export regulations: EDF and SOFTEX forms must be authenticated and forwarded to Reserve Bank, duplicates retained. Regulation 6 requires EDF declarations in duplicate to be submitted to the Commissioner of Customs who, after verification, forwards the original to the nearest Reserve Bank office and returns the duplicate to the exporter for the authorised dealer; SOFTEX declarations in triplicate are submitted to the designated official at STPIs/FTZs/SEZs who certifies and forwards the original to the Reserve Bank, returns the duplicate to the exporter and retains the triplicate, and authorised dealers retain duplicate copies upon realisation of export proceeds.
