of <h1>Investigation on Subsidized Articles Must Conclude in One Year; Extensions Possible in Exceptional Cases.</h1> The designated authority must conclude an investigation within one year to determine if an article is subsidized and submit its findings to the Central Government. These findings should address the nature and amount of the subsidy, the impact on domestic industry, and the necessity for a retrospective levy. Recommendations on the duty amount to mitigate injury must also be included. The investigation period may be extended by six months in exceptional cases. If affirmative, the final findings must detail the suppliers, product description, subsidy amount, injury considerations, and reasons for the determination, followed by a public notice.
