          <h1>Crew baggage allowance permits modest personal gifts on return or final pay off subject to a prescribed monetary ceiling.</h1> Rule 10 applies the Baggage Rules to crew of foreign-going vessels at final pay off, permitting importation of modest personal items (chocolates, cheese, cosmetics and similar petty gifts) for personal or family use subject to a monetary ceiling set by notification; the same concession applies to aircraft crew on return from a foreign journey, with the monetary limit later amended by notification.
