Foreign companies establishing a place of business in India must, within thirty days, deliver to the Registrar a certified copy of their constitutive instrument (with English translation if required), the full address of their registered or principal office, a prescribed list of directors and secretary, name(s) and address(es) of India-resident authorised persons for service, the full address of the office in India deemed the principal place of business, particulars of earlier openings/closings in India, a declaration about convictions or disqualifications of directors or authorised representatives, and any other prescribed information; alterations to delivered documents must be filed by return within thirty days.
