of <h1>Suzlon Infrastructure's Hi-tech SEZ in Gujarat Approved for Development; Some Areas De-notified in 2019.</h1> Suzlon Infrastructure Limited, a private organization in Gujarat, proposed to establish a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Hi-tech Engineering Products and Related Services in Villages Alwa and Pipariya, Taluka Waghodia, District Vadodara. The Central Government, satisfied with the compliance under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, granted approval on May 23, 2007, for the development, operation, and maintenance of this SEZ. The area, comprising various survey numbers, totals approximately 100.99 hectares. Some areas were de-notified per Notification No. S.O. 2453(E) dated July 4, 2019.
