<h1>Government Approves Engineering SEZ in Vadodara, Gujarat; Final Phase Notified Covering 4.97 Hectares Under SEZ Act 2005.</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for the engineering sector by a private organization in Villages Alwa and Pipalia, Taluka Waghodia, District Vadodara, Gujarat. Initially approved on May 23, 2007, for 115.73 hectares, the SEZ has been notified in stages: 100.99 hectares in July 2007, 9.67 hectares in July 2008, and the remaining 4.97 hectares as of this notification. The SEZ development is in accordance with the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, covering specific survey numbers in the designated villages.
