This amendment, effective immediately, restricts the export of various cement types identified by specific HS Codes. However, exceptions exist for supplies from the Domestic Tariff Area to Special Economic Zones for internal use and exports to Nepal, which remain unaffected by this prohibition. This decision, issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade, aims to serve the public interest. Subsequent notifications have modified the initial restrictions.
