of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duties on Phenol Imports from USA, Taiwan, Korea; Notification No. 30/2008-Customs</h1> The Central Government of India imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on phenol imports from the USA, Taiwan, Korea, and other countries as per Notification No. 30/2008-Customs dated March 3, 2008. This action followed findings that these imports were priced below normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duties, effective from September 19, 2007, vary by country of origin and are calculated in USD per metric ton. The exchange rate for duty calculation is determined by the rate specified in the Government's notifications under the Customs Act, 1962.
