        <h1>Tax exemption under section 35AC: Eye care programme by Lok Kalyan Samiti specified as eligible for extension.</h1> The Central Government, under section 35AC, specifies the Eye care programme in the National Capital Region by Lok Kalyan Samiti as an eligible project for exemption for a further three years beginning with financial year 2007-08, following a recommendation under sub-rule (5) of rule 11M of the Income-tax Rules, 1962, and without change to the approved cost of Rs. 1011.00 lakhs.
