of <h1>Eye Care Programme by Lok Kalyan Samiti in NCR gets section 35AC tax exemption extension for three more years.</h1> The Central Government has designated the Eye Care Programme in the National Capital Region, Delhi, conducted by Lok Kalyan Samiti, as an eligible project under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for three years starting from the assessment year 2000-2001, and extended for two more years beginning 2003-2004, the project has been further extended for three additional years starting from the financial year 2004-2005. The project, with an estimated cost of ten crores eleven lakhs, continues to be recognized due to its proper execution and recommendation by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
