Initially recognized in 1992, the project has received multiple extensions, with the latest approval covering three years starting from the financial year 2004-2005. The project continues to be executed satisfactorily, with no change in the approved cost of one crore rupees. This decision follows a recommendation by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
