Initially recognized in 1996, the project was approved for a three-year term, with subsequent extensions in 1998 and 2001. The project is now extended for another three years from the financial year 2004-2005, based on recommendations from the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, ensuring continued tax exemption benefits without altering the approved cost.
