of <h1>Sarvoday Arogya Nidhi's Eye Project Eligibility Extended; Covered Under Section 35AC of Income-tax Act, 1961</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the project conducted by Sarvoday Arogya Nidhi for eye operations and related equipment at Sarvoday Eye Hospital and Eye Camps in Radhanpur, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. Initially approved for three years starting from the 1997-98 assessment year, this project has received multiple extensions, with the latest extension covering the financial years from 2006-07. The project remains eligible under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961, with no change in the approved cost of Rs. 67.00 lakhs, following a recommendation by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
