This decision follows recommendations from the National Committee for the Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, confirming the project's proper execution. The project's cost remains at Rs. 125 lakh, as previously approved. This extension is in accordance with section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961, allowing continued tax benefits for contributions to this scheme.
