of <h1>India Imposes Five-Year Anti-Dumping Duty on Sodium Nitrite Imports from EU and Taiwan to Protect Domestic Industry</h1> The notification imposes a definitive anti-dumping duty on all imports of Sodium Nitrite originating from the European Union and Taiwan, as these imports were found to be below normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duty, effective for five years from March 28, 2002, is set at $51.83 per metric tonne for all exporters from the European Union. The duty is payable in Indian currency, with the applicable exchange rate determined by the Ministry of Finance. This notification remains in force until March 27, 2008, unless revoked or modified earlier.
