of <h1>Govt Extends Tax Benefit for Mehsana Hospital Project Under Section 35AC; Valid Through FY 2013-14</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Running of Smt. Savitaben Ramanlal Dahyalal Shah, Sarvajanik Hospital, Ambasan, District Mehsana, Gujarat' project under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially recognized in 2002, the project has been extended multiple times and will now continue for an additional three years starting from the financial year 2011-12 through 2013-14. The project, managed by a trust in Mehsana, Gujarat, maintains an approved cost of Rs. 63.75 lakh, including a corpus fund of Rs. 28.00 lakh.
