of <h1>India Bans Export of Milk Powders, Casein & Products; Overrides Foreign Trade Policy Transition Rules.</h1> The Government of India, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has issued a notification prohibiting the export of milk powders (including skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, dairy whitener, and infant milk foods), Casein, and Casein products. This decision, effective immediately, amends a prior notification and specifies that transitional arrangements outlined in paragraph 1.5 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14 will not apply to these products. This action reinforces the export prohibition initially established in Notification No 23(RE - 2010)/2009-2014 dated 18th February 2011.
