of <h1>India Extends Anti-Dumping Duty on Sodium Nitrite Imports from China Until June 30, 2011, Protecting Local Industries.</h1> The Government of India has amended Notification No. 143/2009-Customs concerning the imposition of anti-dumping duty on Sodium Nitrite imported from China. The designated authority recommended extending the duty following a review initiated on July 1, 2010, under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. Consequently, the Central Government has extended the validity of the anti-dumping duty from January 16, 2011, to June 30, 2011, as per the powers conferred by the Customs Tariff Act and relevant rules. This amendment aims to continue protecting domestic industries from the adverse effects of dumped imports.
