of <h1>India Updates Tariff Values for Brass Scrap and Poppy Seeds in Notification No. 1/2011-Customs (N.T.) Effective Jan 14.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 1/2011-Customs (N.T.) amending Notification No. 36/2001-Cus (N.T.) regarding tariff values for certain goods. The amendment updates the table of tariff values for items such as Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, Crude Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, Crude Soyabean Oil, Brass Scrap, and Poppy Seeds. The tariff values for most items remain unchanged, except for Brass Scrap and Poppy Seeds, which are set at $4224 and $3382 per metric tonne, respectively. This amendment is effective from January 14, 2011.
