of <h1>India Updates Tariff Values for Brass Scrap and Poppy Seeds; New Rates Effective December 31, 2010.</h1> The Government of India has issued an amendment to Notification No. 36/2001-Cus (N.T.), dated August 3, 2001, regarding tariff values for certain goods. The amendment, effective December 31, 2010, specifies the tariff values in US dollars per metric tonne for various items, including Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, Crude Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, Crude Soyabean Oil, Brass Scrap, and Poppy Seeds. The tariff values for most items remain unchanged, except for Brass Scrap and Poppy Seeds, which are set at $4320 and $3445, respectively. This amendment is published by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
