of <h1>Andhra Pradesh to Host New IT and Electronics SEZ in Raviryal Village; 28.33 Hectares Allocated by Government</h1> A private organization in Andhra Pradesh proposed to establish a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology, IT-enabled services, and electronics hardware in Kancha Imarat, Raviryal Village. The Central Government, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, designated 28.33 hectares for this SEZ. An Approval Committee was constituted, comprising various government officials and a representative from the developer, to oversee the SEZ's operations. Additionally, the SEZ was designated as an Inland Container Depot effective from May 18, 2007, under the Customs Act, 1962.
