Holdings Private Limited, a private organization in Andhra Pradesh, proposed to establish a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services at Imarat Kancha, Raviriyal Village, Ranga Reddy District. The Central Government, satisfied with the compliance of requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, granted approval on April 7, 2006, for the development, operation, and maintenance of this SEZ. Consequently, the government officially notified the designated area, comprising 28.33 hectares, as a Special Economic Zone under the relevant provisions of the Act and associated rules.
