of <h1>Multi-Product SEZ Approved in Pune, Maharashtra; Notified as Inland Container Depot Under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a multi-product Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at village Kendur, District Pune, Maharashtra, proposed by a private organization. Approval was granted under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, with the SEZ officially notified on June 16, 2010. An Approval Committee has been constituted, comprising various government officials and a representative from the developing company, to oversee the SEZ's development, operation, and maintenance. Additionally, the SEZ is designated as an Inland Container Depot under the Customs Act, 1962, effective from the notification date.
