of <h1>Acrylic Fiber from Cytec Industries & Sterling Fibres Exempted from Anti-Dumping Duties, Effective December 18, 1998</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 81/97-Cus to exempt acrylic fiber originating from or exported by Cytec Industries Inc. or Sterling Fibres Ltd., USA, from anti-dumping duties. This amendment, effective from December 18, 1998, is made under the powers conferred by the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and follows clarification from the designated authority published on December 9, 1998. The amendment involves substituting the names in the proviso and table of the original notification to include both Cytec Industries Inc. and Sterling Fibres Ltd. as exempt entities.
