of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on P-Tert Butyl Catechol from France to Protect Local Industry; Effective Until Aug 1999.</h1> The notification imposes an anti-dumping duty on P-Tert Butyl Catechol imported from France into India. This decision follows a determination by the Designated Authority that the chemical was being exported to India at below-normal value, causing material injury to the Indian industry. Under the Customs Tariff Act, the duty is set as the difference between Rs. 320.71 per kg and the landed value per kg of the chemical. This measure aims to counteract the dumping and will remain effective until August 1, 1999. The 'landed value' includes all customs duties except those specified under certain sections of the Customs Tariff Act.
