This decision follows findings that Chinese exporters sold the chemical below normal value, causing material injury to the Indian industry. The duty is calculated as the difference between Rs. 61,153 per metric tonne and the landed value of imports. This measure aims to protect the domestic industry and will remain effective until September 4, 2000, unless extended or revoked. 'Landed value' includes all customs duties except those specified under sections 3, 3A, 8B, 9, or 9A of the Customs Tariff Act.
