of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Diclofenac Sodium to Protect Domestic Industry; Effective Until August 6, 2002</h1> The Indian government has imposed an anti-dumping duty on Diclofenac Sodium imported from the People's Republic of China, as per Notification No. 13/2002-Customs dated February 7, 2002. The duty, set at US $3.44 per kilogram, is based on findings that the chemical was exported to India below its normal value, causing injury to the domestic industry. This measure, effective until August 6, 2002, aims to protect the local market from further harm. The applicable exchange rate for calculating the duty will be as per the Ministry of Finance's notifications, determined at the bill of entry presentation date.
