of <h1>India Imposes Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty on Acrylic Fibre from UK, Germany, Bulgaria, Brazil Under Customs Tariff Act</h1> The Government of India has imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on Acrylic Fibre imported from the UK, Germany, Bulgaria, and Brazil, under sub-heading Nos. 5501.30 or 5503.30 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. This decision follows a preliminary finding that these imports are priced below normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duty rates are set at $0.684/kg for the UK, $0.143/kg for Germany, $0.619/kg for Bulgaria, and $1.275/kg for Brazil. This duty is effective until June 30, 2002, and is payable in Indian currency based on the applicable exchange rate at the time of the bill of entry presentation.
