of <h1>Approval Committee Formed for IT SEZ in Bangalore with Key Government Officials Under SEZ Act, 2005.</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) dedicated to Information Technology and IT Enabled Services at Mahadevpura and Kaggadaspura, K.R. Puram, Whitefield, Bangalore, Karnataka. This SEZ is to be developed by a private enterprise. The committee includes the Development Commissioner as Chairperson and members from various government departments, such as the Ministry of Commerce, Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, and Finance. Additionally, two officers from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and a representative from the developing enterprise are included. The notification is issued under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005.
