<h1>Essential commodity exports to Maldives permitted for FY 2026-27 subject to quotas, designated ports, and compliance conditions.</h1> Export of essential commodities to the Republic of Maldives is permitted for FY 2026-27 under the bilateral trade arrangement, subject to specified commodity-wise quantities. The covered items include eggs, potatoes, onions, rice, wheat flour, sugar, dal, stone aggregate and river sand, and exports are exempt from existing or future restrictions or prohibitions during the period. Restricted or prohibited exports may move only through designated Customs Stations, while eggs require an Export Health Certificate and river sand and stone aggregate require environmental and State-level clearances.
