Courier export value cap withdrawn under Foreign Trade Policy, while exportability remains subject to customs and export policy controls.
The Foreign Trade Policy 2023 is amended to revise the framework for exports through a registered courier service or Foreign Post Office. Exportability of goods continues to be governed by the notifications issued under the Customs Act, 1962 and by the applicable FTP and ITC(HS) export policy, but the earlier per-consignment value ceiling for courier exports is removed. The revised position applies from 01 April 2026, from which date the consignment-wise value restriction for courier exports stands withdrawn.
