<h1>Export risk relief intervenes to offset war-related freight and insurance shocks and facilitate ECGC-backed export coverage.</h1> A time-limited Resilience & Logistics Intervention for Export Facilitation (RELIEF) is notified under the Export Promotion Mission to address export risks from Gulf and West Asia maritime disruptions. ECGC is appointed the nodal implementing agency to administer three components: (i) enhanced war/political risk support for exporters already insured with ECGC for consignments with onboard bill of lading or airway bill in the eligible window with reimbursement for compensation beyond existing cover; (ii) encouragement of ECGC standalone coverage for upcoming exports with premium protection and enhanced cover; and (iii) reimbursement to eligible non-ECGC-insured MSME exporters for extraordinary freight and insurance surcharges subject to documentary proof and per-exporter limits.
