        <h1>Import restriction on silver jewellery studded with diamonds and precious stones imposed, changing policy from free to restricted.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade amends the import policy for specified silver articles of jewellery studded with diamonds and with other precious and semiprecious stones from 'Free' to 'Restricted', effective immediately and applicable up to 30.06.2026, under powers conferred by the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act and provisions of the Foreign Trade Policy.
