of <h1>Import policy for Penicillins, Amoxicillin and 6-APA updated to restrict imports below specified CIF thresholds for one year</h1> Amendment revises import policy for ITC (HS) codes 29411010, 29411030 and 29411050 by declaring imports of Penicillin G-potassium, Amoxicillin trihydrate and 6-APA with CIF values below specified minimum import prices as restricted; the specific MIP thresholds are INR 2,216/kg for PEN-G, INR 2,733/kg for Amoxicillin trihydrate and INR 3,405/kg for 6-APA, and these restrictions operate for one year from notification. Imports remain subject to registration and other requirements under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Exemptions from the MIP restriction apply to 100% EOUs, SEZ units and imports under the Advance Authorization Scheme provided inputs are not sold into the DTA.
