of <h1>Occupational Safety Health and Working Conditions Code: powers delegated to Union Territory administrators to act as appropriate government</h1> Delegation authorises Administrators or Lieutenant Governors of specified Union Territories to exercise and discharge the powers and functions of the appropriate Government under the Industrial Relations Code, 2020, superseding earlier notifications and operating subject to the control of the President until further orders; this enables those Union Territory authorities to frame rules and perform statutory functions where the territories are required to act as the appropriate Government, with the superseded notifications set aside except insofar as actions taken prior to supersession remain unaffected.
