of <h1>Delegation of rulemaking powers under the Industrial Relations Code, 2020 to administrators and Lieutenant Governors, subject to Presidential control.</h1> The notification delegates rulemaking authority under the Industrial Relations Code, 2020 to the administrators or Lieutenant Governors of specified Union Territories, permitting them to exercise powers and discharge functions of the appropriate or state government limited to formulating rules where those territories are required to do so; this delegation is subject to the control of the President and effective until further order. The notification expressly applies to the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Chandigarh, Puducherry and Lakshadweep. The delegation was later superseded by a subsequent notification dated 02-01-2026.
