Code on Social Security: section 142 comes into force on 3 May 2021 under central government notification. The Central Government, exercising powers under sub section (3) of section 1 of the Code on Social Security, 2020 read with section 14 of the General Clauses Act, 1897, appoints 3 May 2021 as the date on which section 142 of the Code on Social Security, 2020 shall come into force by notification S.O. 1730(E) dated 30 April 2021.
