<h1>Fixed customs tariff values for edible oils, brass scrap, gold, silver and areca nut govern valuation from 14 Jan 2026</h1> Substitutes prior tariff-value tables by prescribing specific customs tariff values for specified goods: TABLE-1 fixes values in US$/MT for edible oils and brass scrap (e.g., crude palm oil 1,077; crude soya-bean oil 1,162; brass scrap 6,694), TABLE-2 fixes values in US$ for gold and silver (e.g., gold 1,485 per 10 g; silver 2,724 per kg) and TABLE-3 fixes value for areca nut (7,679 US$/MT); operative effect: these tariff values govern customs valuation/assessment for the listed tariff items and take effect from 14 January 2026.
