of <h1>Tariff values for edible oils, brass scrap, areca nut, gold and silver fixed to govern customs valuation from 16 Jan 2026</h1> The notification amends the existing customs tariff-value schedule by substituting three tables that fix specific tariff values for listed goods: edible oils (Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, Palmolein varieties, Crude Soya bean Oil) at stated US$/MT rates, brass scrap (all grades) at US$7096/MT, areca nut at US$7679/MT, and specified categories of gold and silver at stated US$/10 g or US$/kg rates; the operative effect is that these declared tariff values govern customs valuation for assessment and benefit-eligibility under the referenced notification entries, with effect from 16 January 2026.
