of <h1>Fixation of tariff values for edible oils, brass scrap, areca nut, gold and silver implemented with specified unit valuations effective 23 January 2026</h1> Notification fixes specific tariff values in US$ for designated imported goods including crude and refined edible oils, brass scrap, areca nuts, gold and silver; each tariff value is specified and stated as unchanged where applicable, thereby prescribing the value for customs valuation and duty assessment. Separate tables set unit values per metric tonne or per unit weight for edible oils, brass scrap, areca nuts, and per 10 grams/kilogram for gold and silver, with applicability from 23 January 2026. The notification amends the principal customs tariff value schedule and takes effect on the stated date.
