of <h1>Post Office Monthly Income Account interest rate cut u/r 10, from 5% to 3.50%, effective on gazette publication</h1> Rule 10 of the Post Office (Monthly Income Account) Rules, 1987 is amended to substitute the rate '5 per cent' with '3.50 per cent'. The amended rate applies from the date of publication in the Official Gazette, thereby reducing the prescribed rate applicable under the Monthly Income Account scheme from 5% to 3.50%.
