of <h1>CBIC revises customs tariff values for edible oils, brass scrap, gold, silver and areca nuts under section 14(2)</h1> Notification No. 75/2025-Customs (N.T.), issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs under section 14(2) of the Customs Act, 1962, amends Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) by substituting Table-1, Table-2 and Table-3 to revise tariff values for specified imported goods. The revised tariff values in US dollars are fixed for various edible oils (crude and refined palm oil, palmolein, crude soybean oil) and brass scrap per metric tonne; for gold and silver (in specified forms and subject to conditions) per 10 grams or per kilogram; and for areca nuts per metric tonne. The notification is effective from 29 November 2025.
