<h1>Customs revises tariff values for edible oils, brass scrap, gold, silver and areca nut under Section 14(2) from 15-Nov-2025</h1> The customs authority amends the existing notification fixing tariff values for specified goods by substituting three tables: TABLE-1 sets US$/MT values for edible oils and brass scrap (e.g., crude palm oil $1,066/MT, crude soybean oil $1,159/MT, brass scrap $6,163/MT); TABLE-2 sets values for gold and silver (e.g., gold $1,350/10g, silver $1,739/kg) with specified product definitions and exclusions; TABLE-3 maintains areca nut at $7,142/MT. The amendments are made under section 14(2) of the Customs Act, 1962 and take effect from 15 November 2025.
